Requests you can make
- Access or receive a copy of your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account or specific eligible information.
- Object to or restrict processing where applicable.
- Ask how information was used, sourced, or disclosed.
- Authorize an agent or guardian to act where local law permits.
What to include
Use the email connected to your ForteSet account where possible. State the request type, the relevant account email or Sign in with Apple relay email, your country or region, and enough detail to locate the information. Do not email a password, Apple verification code, payment-card number, full government ID, or a new copy of your training plan.
Identity verification
We use the least additional information practical. A request made while signed in, an email verification link or code, or confirmation through the existing account will usually be enough. We do not request government ID by default. If we cannot verify a request, we explain what is missing and may deny access to protect the account.
Timing and outcome
The response period begins when the request is received, not after verification. We provide a substantive response within 30 calendar days, or sooner where applicable law requires. If a legally permitted extension is necessary, we notify you within the original period, explain why, give a new deadline, and identify any applicable complaint right.
A response may be limited when disclosure would expose another person's information, conflict with law, undermine security or fraud prevention, or concern data that has already been irreversibly anonymized. We explain a denial or partial response unless law prevents that explanation.
Account deletion and subscriptions
Verified deletion disables access immediately. Active-system personal data is deleted within 30 days and residual backups age out within 90 days, except narrow legal, transaction-security, or fraud-prevention records. Deleting a ForteSet account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in Apple subscription settings.
Complaints
Reply to our decision or contact privacy@forteset.com if you believe the request was mishandled. You may also complain to the privacy regulator with jurisdiction where you live.
